A cafe interior is really several trades stacked on top of each other: civil work, plumbing, electricals, exhaust and ventilation for the kitchen, the counter and back-of-house joinery, the seating and finishes, and a fire and health standard you have to clear before you open. When each of those sits with a different vendor, someone has to coordinate them, and that job usually falls on you. We keep it in one place instead. Design decisions get checked against what our own fabrication floor can build and what our own site team can install, so nothing gets drawn that later turns out to be a problem on site.
Cost moves with scope more than with anything else. A shell-and-core space with straightforward finishes and a compact kitchen costs less per square foot than a space that needs heavy civil work, a full exhaust system, or higher-end joinery and finishes. Kitchen equipment, electrical load, and the extent of false ceiling and flooring work are the three biggest swing factors we see project to project. Rather than quote a number here that won't hold for your specific site, we lock a bill of quantities against your brief first, so the figure you get reflects your space and your finish level.
Timeline works the same way. A straightforward fit-out on a ready shell can be handed over in a matter of weeks once the BOQ is locked; a space needing structural changes or a full kitchen build from scratch takes longer. We give you a delivery date against the BOQ, not a rough estimate, because we are the ones executing it and we hold ourselves to that date.
We work across the full Mumbai Metropolitan Region: Powai, where our unit is based, along with Andheri, Bandra and BKC, Lower Parel, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Panvel. Being based in Powai means our fabrication and site teams reach most of these areas within the same day.
We start with a site visit and a brief covering your format, seating count, kitchen requirements and opening date. From there we design against what we can actually build, and we price it against a locked bill of quantities, so the number you approve at the start is the number you pay at the end. Furniture, counters and custom joinery are fabricated in Powai while civil and MEP work proceeds on site, and the two streams meet at installation.
The pattern we hear most often goes like this. A designer drew something good, the execution went to a separate contractor who had never spoken to the designer, and the two spent the opening weeks blaming each other while the date slipped.
